This pedal was called ‘Gilmour Muff’, and has now been changed to ‘D.G. Original’. It is exactly the same pedal, with a different name and a higher quality Gorva footswitch to replace the original black one.

If you're chasing David Gilmour’s tone, then this pedal is perfect. This pedal is a recreation of Gilmour’s main and favourite ‘73 Rams Head EHX Big Muff circuit. The pedal his guitar tech labelled “D.G. Original”, and the one David has used on most recordings since the Animals album.

It features the same component values as Gilmour’s favourite original Rams Head pedal, recreating the sound that shaped much of Pink Floyd’s guitar sounds.

A mid switch has been added for control over the scooped mids that Big Muff's are famous (infamous?) for. There are 3 mids EQ settings, scooped like the original, flat, or boosted. This helps cut through any mix, or band in a live setting.

Vintage Fairchild BC239C transistors.

Enclosure is powder coated in matte white and UV printed for durability.

Only quality components used, including Switchcraft, Gorva, Vishay, NOS Fairchild transistors, NOS Panasonic capacitors.

Features internal LED brightness trim, and a pink/mauve LED.

Requires 9v battery, or standard external power for guitar effects pedals.
