Anthurium villenaorum produces broad, dark green leaves with a dense, matte-velvet surface and bold, silvery-white veining that stands out in dramatic contrast. The leaf blade is thick and substantial, with a texture that feels almost suede-like.
Origins
Native to Peru, Anthurium villenaorum was described relatively recently. It grows terrestrially in humid tropical forest at low to moderate elevations in shaded, sheltered conditions.
Soil and Substrate
Our Anthurium Premium Potting Mix is peat-free and formulated for demanding Anthuriums, combining bark, charcoal, coco husk, lava rock, and pumice for long-lasting structure and root aeration.
