The MIRA Safety MOPP-1 CBRN Protective Suit provides next-generation protection from chemical, biological, and even nuclear threats.

Whereas most traditional MOPP Gear is engineered to be impermeable, the MIRA Safety MOPP-1 CBRN Protective Suit has the same advanced semipermeable construction as the suits used by the US Military.

Thanks to its special construction that includes an integrated layer of embedded carbon spheres, this MOPP Gear effectively “breathes” while providing total body protection to the user. As a result, it can be worn for much longer periods in hazardous environments because the risk of exhaustion or dehydration is reduced.

It’s also engineered to be far more durable than the average CBRN MOPP Gear. With its semi-permeable construction, the MOPP Suit is designed to be worn during active duty use and for long periods in response to elevated threat levels. Most hazmat suits are designed for one-time use, but the MIRA Safety MOPP-1 CBRN Protective Suit will last a minimum of 30 days under average use conditions and up to 10 decontamination washes.

If the suit and user are not exposed to direct CBRN threats, the suit can be worn for up to 10 years, presuming it is not damaged or compromised.

Featuring superior puncture resistance and a digital camouflage pattern, the MIRA Safety MOPP-1 CBRN Protective Suit is a top-tier solution that protects against chemical warfare agents (CWA) and toxic industrial chemicals (TIC).

The Next Generation of Protective CBRN Suits

The MIRA Safety MOPP-1 CBRN Protective Suit delivers protection above and beyond anything else available on the civilian market today.

Indeed, it’s even superior to the protective gear trusted by most military, police, and professional operators worldwide. Most entry-level biohazard suits are only designed to provide limited protection for workers on a job site and are designed to be replaced after a single day’s use, with more focus on affordability than extended protection.

Higher-grade hazmat suits can provide a wider range of protection, but they’re also limited in that they are impermeable. So, in addition to keeping threats out, they keep air out too. As a result, the use time for these types of hazmat suits is limited. When performing work that requires strenuous effort, users can become dehydrated or exhausted after as little as an hour of work.

The first MOPP Suits were developed to solve a specific challenge for the military—allowing soldiers to maintain maximum readiness and mobility without compromising on protection from gas and vapor threats.

The MOPP-1 is the latest evolution of protective suits, engineered to provide all-day comfort and protection from direct exposure to deadly chemical and toxic threats. It’s available in multiple sizes to fit various body types.

When stored in its original packaging in appropriate conditions (see below), the MOPP-1 CBRN Protective Suit will last ten years.

Remember, when wearing a MOPP Suit, users will require the addition of a functioning full-face respirator, a properly CBRN-rated filter, butyl gloves, and boots to ensure proper protection from airborne contaminants, radioactive particles, and other threats.

For storage after use, we recommend purchasing clothing storage bags that are hermetically sealed and come with a hand pump. These bags usually feature a double zip and a triple seal valve, ensuring a perfect hermetically-seal that will reduce the size of your MOPP-1 Suit by up to 50% for easier long-term storage.

MOPP Suit Storage

The MOPP-1 CBRN Protective Suit should be stored either in the original packaging at temperatures from -30°C to +50°C or in a hermetically sealed bag, with a relative humidity of up to 80% and without direct exposure to sunlight or heat sources.

Under these conditions, the suit’s shelf life is at least ten years.

MOPP Suit Cleaning and Maintenance

After exposure or use, the CBRN MOPP-1 Suit should be cleaned and disinfected according to the manufacturer's instructions included with the packaging. Your MOPP-1 Suit can be washed up to 10 times in this manner without compromising its protective abilities. Once a suit has been washed ten times, remove it from rotation. Never use a MOPP Suit that is not properly disinfected and decontaminated. In case of doubt, dispose of the suit in accordance with local regulations, and use a new one. The MOPP-1 Suit requires zero end-user maintenance. If a suit is compromised, torn or cut, DO NOT attempt to repair it.

Mission Oriented Protective Posture (MOPP) Protective Levels Guide

In the US Army, understanding MOPP levels is crucial for personnel to maintain safety during various exercises and real-world scenarios. MOPP is a commonly used acronym for mission-oriented protective posture and outlines the required garments, gear, and actions airmen must take in response to different levels of hazard. This includes donning overboots for additional protection and being prepared for various threats such as radiation, nerve agents, and biological threats. Implementing these protocols effectively ensures that soldiers are ready to respond to emergencies.

For instance, Airman 1st Class personnel must be familiar with each MOPP level, from MOPP Level 0, where minimal personal protective equipment (PPE) is necessary, to MOPP Level 4, which demands full gear, including a protective mask and gloves. These measures ensure that airmen are prepared to handle harmful threats such as biological agents at an air base. Emergency management protocols often highlight the importance of these levels in article displays to ensure that every airman knows how to properly use their MOPP kit. The following table provides a detailed overview of each MOPP level, ensuring that airmen are always ready to protect themselves and continue their mission effectively.

Level What's Worn Description
MOPP 0 Carry a protective mask. Ensure that individual protective gear is within arm's reach.
MOPP 1 Suit worn. Mask, gloves, and boots carried. Airmen wear the suit and carry the mask, gloves, and boots, preparing for potential hazards.
MOPP 2 Suit and boots are worn. Gloves and mask carried. Airmen wear the suit and boots, while carrying gloves and mask, ready for an increased threat level.
MOPP 3 Suit, boots, and mask worn. Gloves carried. Airmen wear the suit, boots, and mask, with gloves carried, indicating a high threat of hazardous exposure.
MOPP 4 All protection is worn.

Mastering MOPP Levels: Essential CBRN Gear for Military Readiness

Understanding and implementing MOPP levels isn't just about following procedures; it's about ensuring readiness and safety in unpredictable environments. It's far better to know how to wear protective gear and not need it than to need it and not be able to properly wear it. It's important to remember that being prepared can make all the difference in critical situations. Stay ready by familiarizing yourself with MOPP protocols and practicing regularly.

Given that world politics are changing, we may or may not resort to these protective measures frequently, but we must be vigilant. Knowing what our enemies may deploy in terms of chemical, biological, or radiological threats is crucial. Therefore, understanding and being proficient in MOPP levels ensures that you can respond effectively when needed. Remember, it's always better to be over-prepared and safe than caught off-guard and vulnerable.

Low foam
Color: Black
Love this frother. It is great quality and the turn speed is amazing. My only issue is this. It comes w 2 wands and they are both singles. The single is great for stirring things up. It does not make a lot of froth and for some things it’s perfect but sometimes I like a lot of froth and I wish it either came w a single and a double or you could purchase a double separately to intermix. I don’t want to buy a whole other unit just for the double. I wrote to them bc the double frother they sell doesn’t look as good as this one but sometimes a girl needs a lot of foam and sometimes th stirring is perfect.

Still The Best Frother Ever!
Color: Black
I love how it is easy to use, how it holds a charge, and how much power it has. I've only charged it once since I got it & I've been using it on a daily basis!!! Though it isn't a long time, I'm happy with it so far! I definitely will recommend it to anyone looking for a great frother. If you are looking for one, look no further! You won't be disappointed! I've read some comments where they found it to be too strong that their drink spilled everywhere. But for me I have not had any incident of spilling over. I have used it both for my coffee and my matcha tea and it worked great without any spilling over. You just have to start with the lowest power and ensure that you have a large enough container to have a room for your frothing. My sister tried to use it recently during her visit to make us matcha tea. However, she experienced spillage all over the cup, because she had used a small cup. Otherwise, she liked it very much and said she will get one when her battery operated one stops working... Another thing I like about the product was the customer service that I had received. When I got my first order which came quickly, it wasn't working after having charged it over 24 hours. It was not turning on at all. I returned it and ordered a replacement which I received within a day or two. This time after charging it for the recommended amount of time, I was a bit skeptical when I turned it on. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it worked like it was supposed to and it has been working ever since having charged it only once so far. I may come back and give an update depending on how it does after 6 months of use, so keep in tune... I don't know if there is a way to write a new entry as a follow up to the old entry, so I'm going to add my follow up comment over here. May 23, 2025 - I love my frother more than I can say in words. It's functionality has not changed a bit from the time I have purchased it. It charge lasts several weeks to few months before I charge it again and the power is still the same. Recently I decided to buy another one for my office use. I like the white color and so tried it but that one wouldn't even turn on. And then I got a gray one to have a different color. That one was much weaker than the black one I own. Then I replaced it with another gray one within few days. I tried it and it was exactly the same as the one I already replaced. So then I decided to go with a black one again hoping that it would be the same as the one I have. The black one did much better than the gray ones in the strength or power of the frother. However, it is weaker than the one I already have been using since last August. While I am not very happy with the quality being inconsistent in all of the ones I have tried including the recent pictures of the black one, I have decided to keep the black one because it is relatively better than the gray ones I tried. What I don't understand is why there is inconsistency in the quality of the same product by the same maker. I am beginning to wonder if the black one I purchased in Augusta last year was anomaly of a quality and a good way. Maybe I lucked out on my older black frother, but I'm unsure if quality is going to get better if I were to order another one. I have a sister who is a pro in making coffee drinks and she was the reason I had ordered this frother to begin with. She uses a battery operated one at this time and I have been thinking about getting her one like mine. While I am still skeptical, I am going to give it a shot and order her one sometime soon. If it doesn't work, I guess we will return it back. But one thing that I am grateful is that I have been able to return every one of those that I have tried recently with no issues. I hope that I don't have to return my most recent purchase in black. I was not even able to review the new purchase because of the item being the same color which is crazy.

Outstanding Frother!
Color: Space Gray
Exceptional! This frother is in another league compared to the cheapo push button frothers. The motor is smooth, quiet and powerful. This has an intuitive thumb dial on top that operates smoothly with a wide range of smooth speed adjustment. It’s gentle enough to froth a little bit of milk for a macchiato and powerful enough to scramble 3 eggs. The head is removable for easy cleaning. It’s also rechargeable. I charged this the day I bought it on April first. I use it at least twice a day. It’s September 26th today and I have yet to recharge it and it’s not showing any signs of needing a charge. One minor quibble is that they give you 2 of the same frother heads. They are built so well, that I don’t imagine it ever wearing out. It would have been nice to get a whisk or something different. Not a deal breaker at all though.

Handheld Mixer/Frother Review A Premium Choice That Transforms Morning Coffee I am thoroughly impressed with this handheld mixer and frother. Each morning, I blend cacao and collagen powder into my coffee, and in the past, I always ended up with stubborn lumps using only a spoon or whisk. I had previously purchased a few inexpensive handheld mixers, but they disappointed me both in price and performance, struggling to mix the powders thoroughly—especially at the bottom of the cup. I came close to abandoning handheld mixers altogether, but decided to give it one last try. After reading countless reviews and carefully comparing models, I opted to invest in a higher-end handheld mixer. The anticipation was high—would this mixer truly distinguish itself from the budget options cluttering my kitchen drawer? From the moment I unboxed it, the difference was clear. The mixer felt substantial in my hand, and the build quality reflected thoughtful engineering. While this model cost roughly twice as much as the cheaper alternatives, it proved to be well worth the investment. Initially, I was concerned about the dial at the top, fearing it might be difficult to control. However, I was pleasantly surprised by its intuitive operation. The unit offers a solid feel, plenty of power, and a versatile range of speeds—from a gentle stir perfect for coffee to an impressively fast setting. I had not previously considered using this mixer as a frother, but as a cappuccino enthusiast, I decided to give it a try. I heated both 2% milk and oat milk to take the chill off, then submerged the mixing wand. Allowing the mixer to rise above the milk introduced air and created a rich, creamy foam—an unbelievable result. My homemade cappuccino now tastes like something from a café. The controls are robust, the construction is reliable, and the power is consistent. Cleanup is effortless, requiring only a quick rinse under the tap. The battery life is also noteworthy, lasting through several uses without losing strength. If you are hesitant to spend a bit more on a quality handheld mixer, I wholeheartedly recommend making the investment. This mixer has become an essential part of my morning routine. Excellent product—well done!
