All-Inclusive Pergola Kit
Sunset Pergola kits include EVERYTHING you'll need for a 100% complete, fully-assembled pergola. This 10x10 foot modern-style attached pergola kit includes the following key components (text is color-coded to match the image, which you can enlarge by clicking):
- 4 Posts: 7" x 7" with heavy-duty aluminum frame (style chosen above)
- 4 Box Beams: 2" x 8" with heavy-duty aluminum frame
- 4 Rafters: 2" x 6" with heavy-duty aluminum frame
- 2 Outside Purlin Holders: 2" x 3.5" (sit up against box beams)
- 4 Inside Purlin Holders: 1.75" x 1.75" (sit atop rafters)
- 26 Shade Purlins: 7/8" x 3" (assumes 75% shade option is selected)
- All hardware & fasteners needed to assemble the pergola (stainless steel), except hardware for securing the posts to a secure base (as this varies)

Easy Assembly: DIY or Installed For You
Assembling a Sunset Pergola is quite simple and straightforward. Even novices with little to no construction experience can bang it out in a day or two. You don’t need any specialized tools, either. We provide fully-illustrated installation instructions, several demo videos (for the more complicated steps) and will even provide live help via FaceTime or Skype for free (if needed).
Or you can hire an installer near you to assemble and install your pergola for you. Check out this list of installers throughout the country who have 1) completed our installation training course, 2) passed a test we administer, and 3) already installed our pergolas multiple times (in most cases).

Like the Look, But More Than You Were Planning to Spend?
Modern pergolas (like the one featured on this page) typically cost 20-40% more than our traditional pergolas of the exact same dimensions.
But what if you just like the contemporary look of our modern pergolas better?
You may want to consider our hybrid pergola option (as shown in the picture to the left), which is essentially a traditional pergola customized and installed to look a lot more like a modern pergola (with no overhangs and more clean, squared-off corners).
To get this hybrid pergola look, just order a 20-40% lower-cost traditional pergola, select Flat beam/rafter end caps, and install the posts so they are flush with the outside edges of the beams and rafters (rather than 12" in from the beam/rafter edges, resulting in no overhangs).
