Aglaonema Creta Information

Aglaonema Creta is a Chinese evergreen, making it a tropical perennial. There are many variations, or cultivars, and all aglaonema's make excellent houseplants. They are popular for their large, narrow, oval leaves, which come on short stems. Under the right conditions they will flower in the spring or summer.

The Chinese evergreen is one of the most popular houseplants because it is easy to care for and comes in many colour variations. Dark green, silver, red, orange - there are so many varieties.

This is a plant that will add personality to your home decor.

 

A Chinese evergreen growth rate is slower, which makes it an excellent house plant for beginners and experienced plant growers.

Watering an Aglaonema Creta every two weeks is common, letting them dry out between waterings. This allows the roots to get fresh air before more water is applied. Soak the plant thoroughly once it's dry, let the excess water drain for 5 minutes, place your plant in its pot, and you are good for 2 more weeks.

Placing a Aglaonema Creta in medium bright indirect light is enough to let it thrive. A table, ledge, or desk that is 2 or 3 feet from a window is the perfect amount of light, being sure that leaves are kept out of direct sun. The more sun your plant gets, the more water it will need, which you will learn over time.

This is one of the few balls I have purchased that my dog does not destroy. I am surprised at the negative reviews here and have been doing some thinking about why one dog destroys this ball and another does not. Perhaps it is the type of chewer we own? Or because he has a narrow jaw rather than a broad one like a pit bull? All I can say is that this toy has been a lifesaver for me. My extremely active one year old Airedale Terrier needs a lot of exercise and this ball satisfied that need for us. It is fun for him and I giggle at his antics as he attempts to follow the unpredictable path of the bumble ball. I throw the ball for him from my porch, trying to toss it so it goes over our truck, which my husband leaves in the driveway. If the ball hits the truck, no harm done and more unpredictable for my boy! I can toss the ball around the house without worrying it will break a window.
