This frame is made to specifically fit standard 2.5"x3.5" cards in sleeves taped behind the mat window opening or 3"x4" toploaders fitted in easy to access slots. The front opening is designed to show most standard 2.5"x3.5" cards such as Pokemon, Magic The Gathering, and the majority of sports cards. The opening is too wide to show Yugioh cards well (Contact Us for a custom design). My husband doesn't seem as bothered by the smell, so they might not be too bad for most people. The smell isn't bad enough that I wouldn't repurchase, but I think I'd probably choose something else since they don't last long and I was looking for something to keep the dogs busy for at least a few minutes.
