Shape Effects Your Way with Endless

Endless is a user defined platform with multiple paths to effect creation. Craft your own effects or describe a sound and get a ready-to-use effect using Polyend’s Playground tool (beta). Swapping sounds is as simple as dragging a file to the pedal over USB-C. It’s built for durability with a custom-machined aluminum enclosure and knobs, and designed for customization with a magnetic faceplate that is removable and swappable.

How to Create?

Polyend Playground - An Effect Creation System for Everyone.

The Playground is a text-based environment for effect creation. Give the Playground a description of an effect, and code is generated, tested, compiled, and a ready-to-load effect is provided. Just drag and drop the file over USB-C, and you are done!
A token system is used for the Playground when generating effects. No subscriptions, cloud fees, or costs to try others’ effects. Try a formant-filtered delay that repeats different vowels based on how hard you play, or a Euclidean pattern stutter that reverses on stomp. If you can describe it, the Playground will build it for you.

Open source - need more control? We got you covered!

Know your way around code editors/IDEs and have some C++ knowledge, or are you ready and eager to learn? Polyend provides a GitHub repository with an SDK and examples to get you started at fully developing your own effects for Endless.

What Can You Create?

Outside of the scope of the hardware, no limits are placed on what you can create with Endless. Describe or code effects that have never existed or create any form of standard effects like reverbs, amp sims, loopers, and drives. Try a pitch shifter that only triggers when you play bass notes on a guitar or a drum machine with a fill that only plays when no audio input is detected. Examples of currently available effects created using the Playground include:

  • Tessera - transforms a signal into microlooping arpeggios
  • Tape Scanner - warm, gritty, lo-fi tape delay.
  • VHS LoFi - VHS Emulation from fresh tapes to dusty old VHS.
  • Memory Cloud - a field of grains that can be reversed, randomize and morphed from delay to reverb.
  • 65’ Sparkle - an amp simulation, a bit of drive makes the cat inside purr.
  • Glitch Loop - record a loop, and Endless will slice it into glitchy pieces on playback.
  • Arp - an arpeggiating pitch shifter with multiple playback modes.
  • Multidrive - multiband drive with separate saturators applied to three selectable drive bands with multi-modes for different drives.

Community Effects - A Growing Library

Endless effects are designed to be freely shared. Swap the effect as many times as you wish. An expansive library of free effects is available now, with more effects being added daily.

You own what you create, so sharing is always optional.

Hardware designed for durability and customization

  • Aluminium Enclosure and Knobs. Durable machined-aluminum design.
  • Magnetic Swappable Faceplate. Change plates, design your own. Blank plate is available at launch.
  • Three Knobs, Multiple Functions. Access dedicated secondary controls for the analog input level, output level, and mix.

latching on short or long presses.

Basic mouse that works - - for now.
Size: 1 Pack, Style: USB Receiver, Color: Blue
I ordered this mouse (in blue) to replace the recently deceased exact same model that I've used for the past 2 or 3 years. I like the simplicity of the M185 mouse and mostly the best bang for your buck! I caught this one on sale for less than a ten-spot, so I thought, "why not." I'm hoping that this one will last a bit longer than my two previous M185 models, that averaged about 3 years each. This model seems plagued by a short life span and is predisposed to mysteriously and suddenly dying, without any obvious symptoms or warning of any kind - - you're working and clicking along, going about your day, when suddenly the cursor on the computer screen freezes and that's it. Nothing, zero, nada. Funny thing, I'm very careful not to abuse or drop the mouse, and keep a fresh battery installed and watch for leakage and all that stuff - - they just stop working, and I assume it is caused by some sort of inherent electronic fault in the circuitry of the previous M185's. Due to my loyalty to the brand and model (and since it was on sale) I decided to give it one more shot. They say that "third time's a charm". I like the fact that the M185 is simple and uncluttered with extra buttons that I would never use for my purpose, which is simple web-browsing and the occasional text document production. The feel is solid, not heavy, but not cheap feeling, either. I'm used to the shape of this mouse, which to me is quite comfortable for long sessions, another reason why I kind of wanted to stay with this model. The buttons have an audible "click", which doesn't bother me at all, and the wheel moves smoothly and also has a clicking operation (which I rarely ever use). The overall surface of the mouse has a matte finish, but like my previous models I'm sure it will eventually wear shiny spots where my fingers reside and will attain a more "well-used" look in time. Connecting it was a breeze, too. I just plugged the dongle into a spare rear usb port of my desktop, and the mouse connected instantly, no problem. The dongle can be stored safely inside the battery compartment, so you can take the whole thing out of the house if needed for use elsewhere. The speed of 1000 dpi seems just right for my purposes. The one I ordered even came with its own AA Duracell battery, which I wasn't really expecting. This mouse also enters "sleep mode" when you don't use it for a while, and I can't say how many times I've got up and left it on all night. And that's not hard to do, as I'll explain next. The only real negative to this mouse is the absence of any easily visible status indicator of it's on / off switch. The rear housing of this mouse is matte black, including the tiny switch where you turn it on and off with your fingernail, with only a very faint "on" lettering (also black), and very hard to see with my aging eyes. The laser is not lighted or visible when on, also adding to the confusion, especially in a darkened room. So, as a workaround, I took a tiny drop of green paint and placed it down inside the switch slider to visibly help indicate the "on" position, and likewise a dot of bright orange for the "off" position. Many of Logitech's more expensive models (and a few other manufacturers) include this color-coded switch indication. I guess for the $$, they had to cut corners somewhere - - a minor complaint. In summary, this is a good basic mouse that works - - let's hope that this one will last longer than its two predecessors.

My favorite mouse ever
Style: Right-Handed, Pattern Name: Mouse, Color: Off White
I'm very particular when it comes to mice. It has to be: - quiet click and scroll - scroll wheel, not track ball - bluetooth - vertical - real battery, NOT rechargeable There are actually several mice that fit all those criteria, and I've tried nearly all. This Logitech is double the price of most of the others, but for me well worth it. Prior to this I used the Mojo which is about half the price, and that mouse is probably my 2nd favorite but it is a distant second. Compared to the Mojo and others, this mouse has more precise movement, smoother scrolling, and more reliable clicks. Because of the vertical orientation, my finger tends to click diagonally downward with gravity instead of fully horizontal in line with the intended click direction. That causes the Mojo to sometimes miss my clicks, forcing me to constrain my finger direction more carefully, often requiring several tries just to click something. But this Logitech has no such issue, it's very responsive every time even with my sloppy clicks. So while I used to think the Mojo was the best I could find given my requirements, this Logitech is clearly better. When I spend all day at the computer, these minor things make a big difference to me, therefore well worth the extra money. Also want to mention I'm 6' 4" tall and the size of this mouse is fine for me. It is a little smaller than some others, but it feels fine in my hand, it's not abnormally tiny or anything. I was concerned because the description says it's intended for smaller hands and suggested I should get their larger MX Vertical model instead. I would have considered it but the MX Vertical has a rechargeable battery which is a deal-breaker for me. What's my beef with rechargeable batteries? Earlier I had the Seenda vertical mouse but its rechargeable battery died after a year, unable to recharge, so I figured it was a fluke and bought another, and same thing happened after a few months. So after that I switched to replaceable batteries and never looked back. Replaceable batteries last forever (well, they only last a year too, but then you just replace the battery!). I've been very happy using replaceable batteries, way more reliable and durable, because all rechargeables die eventually, and it is easier to replace a battery than an entire mouse! So in summary, if you're price sensitive you could get a usable vertical mouse for less. But if you're OK to spend a little more for a tool you might well use all day for years, then this one is totally worth it IMO.

Don't Delay - Get One
Style: Right-Handed, Pattern Name: Mouse, Color: Graphite
Make sure you get the right size - I got the Small/Med. Perfect fit. Have had tennis elbow for years and the computer use exacerbated the issue. Very comfortable, great fit. The best position for your hand is in the upright position. Would recommend one for everyone. Good, solid mouse.
