Even without phrase loops, HOOK can be used as a drum machine with tap-to-tempo function.
It provides 11 drum machine styles with high-quality sounds and practical rhythm patterns for practice.

HOOK has a 24-bit/44.1kHz recording resolution and 6 minutes of recording time.

NR/AR mode

When recording a loop, you can choose between normal recording or automatic recording.
Normal Recording (NR) works like a regular looper, and starts recording immediately when the footswitch is pressed.

When in automatic recording (AR) mode, press the foot switch to start the loop.
Once HOOK detects your guitar signal it will start recording.
This is convenient when you place the HOOK on a table so you can operate it with your hands instead of your feet.

To switch between NR/AR, press and hold the foot switch while plugging in the power adapter and turning on the pedal.
NR: The drum indicator flashes 3 times in blue. AR: The drum indicator flashes 3 times in red.
