Some tips for caring for a boston fern:

  • it prefers being placed in a cool area with high humidity and indirect light;
  • it is intolerant of dry air from heating or cooling vents - misting it daily will  help counteract this; and
  • make sure its soil remains damp.

Delivery Info:

Please note that we have to be very strategic with our delivery routes and for this reason, we do not offer time slots. 

We deliver within LA for a flat rate of $15 for each delivery, to the neighborhoods and zip codes listed in our 'Where we deliver page'. Prior to placing an order, please check that your delivery area/zipcode is included within this list. If it isn't, please contact us directly (by email at [email protected] or by phone on 213 705 2240) as we may still be able to deliver (although we would need to charge a bespoke delivery fee).

We will be exercising contactless deliveries. Please include any special delivery instructions when placing your order (eg. any code for any security door or gate etc). It would also be really helpful if you are able to ensure that the recipient will be home on the delivery day, although we appreciate that the plant may be a gift so that may not always be possible! In any event, please provide a contact number for the recipient along with their address.

Please also include any message in the box provided on the order form. We never give out the sender's name so if you want the recipient to know who the plant is from, please put your name in the message!

Here's what I like: Appearance. I like the color and how it looks on my bed. It looks appropriate for a king sized bed. Removable cover. It was easy to take the cover off and wash, which I appreciate because I like my bedding to smell fresh and clean. What I don't like: It is a bit softer than I would like. But I can live with it. I thought it was a foam pillow inside, not fill. Maybe my fault though for not reading description or reviews. Quality. This is the biggest issue driving the rating. I removed the over upon opening the item so I could wash it. The buttons are attached the the inside cover. When removing the outside cover, you have to unbotton them. They are not secured well at all. From what I can tell the threading goes through the inside cover through the fill to the button on the opposite side. I suspect this because 4 buttons came off when I removed the outside cover. They are very loosely secured to each other. Be gentle when removing and replacing the cover. Now I will have to thread the buttons again and secure it. Just a pain for a brand new item. Should I expect that for the cost of the item? I dunno. Could have been a higher rating, but, damn those buttons.
