- Light: Place in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
- Soil: Use well-draining, peat-based potting mix. Repot every 1-2 years to refresh the soil and give the roots room to grow.
- Plant Height: Varies based on pot size. 4" pot - 6 Inch, 6" pot - 10 Inch, 8 " pot - 15 Inch
- Propagation: Peace lilies can be propagated through division. Divide the plant during repotting, ensuring each division has roots and shoots.
- Pests and Diseases: Watch for common pests like spider mites and mealybugs; treat with insecticidal soap. Prevent fungal issues by avoiding overwatering and providing good air circulation.
- Care Instructions: Check the soil before watering, stick your finger about an inch into the soil. If it feels dry at this depth, it's time to water. If it still feels moist, wait a bit longer before checking again. Water the plant thoroughly and evenly. You can water from the top until water starts draining out of the bottom of the pot. Alternatively, you can water from the bottom by placing the pot in a saucer of water and allowing the plant to soak up water through the drainage holes. Empty any excess water from the saucer after about 15-20 minutes to prevent root rot.
