Eco-Friendly Copper Gardening Tool Set That Protects the Soil and Your Plants

From the home of Kaarigar, the trusted name in copper, arrives a new range of copper alloy gardening tools. Designed to cultivate the soil, they help grow healthier plants and proves to be beneficial to the Earth.

An early 20th century visionary, Viktor Schauberger, was a forester by training. He had opportunities granted to very few today – he could observe Nature in her raw state, undisturbed by human technologies. In the mountains where he wandered, some areas had hardly ever been visited by humans before. He learned from what he saw, the ways of Wise Nature, as he called it. He was convinced after experimentation that crops cultivated with copper ploughshares had larger healthier yields and fewer pests. He believed that:

  • Using iron or steel implements to work the soil was detrimental
  • Everything in Nature is in movement, moving towards either growth or decay
  • Metallic iron exposed to the weather, will rust and decay in a relatively short time
  • There is no logic of trying to encourage plants to grow using a material that is in a process of decay
  • Copper is much more stable, and it is not in a process of decay
  • Copper actively resists harmful bacteria.

Although they are called the copper gardening tools set, our tools are made with a copper alloy called Kansa (Bronze). Kansa is considered a healing metal in Ayurveda and consists of 90% Copper and 10% Tin. The handles are made using pine wood.

As pure copper is a soft metal, it needs to be mixed with another metal to give it the hardness.

Our Copper Gardening Tool Set is handmade from scratch. The process includes sand casting, sanding, polishing, and fitting wooden handles. Handmade products carry good energy, but no two pieces will be similar or perfect like machine made ones. We ensure that these imperfections will not affect the performance of our products. If you are seeking perfection, then this might not be your collection. Thank you.

You may find handmade imperfections, but we ensure that these will not harm the performance or the longevity of the product. Should you have any concerns/comments, please write to us at [email protected]

Where to Use Our Copper Gardening Tool Set

Our Copper Gardening Tools Set are ideal for use in vegetable, flower gardens or raised flower beds.

Our tools are not suited for use on stony soil or in clearing trees, bushes and root systems.

Copper Is Not as Hard as Steel

A word of caution.

To provide the benefits of copper we use 90% copper in our gardening tools (the rest 10% is tin). This makes copper tools softer than identical steel tools. It could bend with use and can also be bent back to shape. We guarantee our copper tools for 2 years from breakage under normal use.

Note: Please do not use these for very heavy soil work.

How to Care for Your Copper Gardening Tool Set

It is very important to take proper care of your tools so that they continue to perform at their best. Never leave your tools outside and always store them in a dry environment after use. Even in dry weather conditions your tools, if left outside, are exposed to moisture from wet grass and dew.

Cleaning and drying your copper gardening tools set will keep them in good working order. Always remove all the soil and debris from your tools after each use by washing the dirt off.

Never let your copper gardening tools set stay wet. Dry them completely before storing to prevent corrosion and handle rot. For all wood handled tools, apply a light coating of boiled linseed oil to help prevent the wood from drying out and cracking. If a wooden handle is very dirty, remove as much of the soil as possible with a stiff brush. If you need to use water, gently wet the handle with a damp cloth, making sure that you don’t soak the wood, as this may cause the grain to lift and the handle to swell.

Thoroughly clean any tools which have been used for chemical applications. Fertilizers and other chemicals will rapidly corrode any metal.

The Copper Gardening Tool Set Consists Of

1. Copper Garden Trowel (large)

2. Copper Garden Trowel (small)

3. Copper Garden Weeder

4. Copper Garden Cultivator

We use the Pine Wood for our handles because:

1. It is more robust and durable compared to other hard woods

2. It is known for its distinctive grain patterns. We do not hide the original wood grain under varnish.

World War II - The Final Months
Format: Hardcover
The book takes you through the final months of World War II, focusing on eight key moments when the fighting finally came to an end. It’s not just a dry rundown of facts or battle maps — the authors do a great job of bringing the people involved to life, from famous leaders to everyday soldiers and civilians caught in the chaos. What I really liked was how the story moves around the globe, covering Europe, the Pacific, and beyond. It keeps the narrative fresh and exciting, giving a real sense of how the war unfolded on many fronts at once. Sometimes I had to pay close attention to keep up with all the locations and characters, but that only added to the feeling of being caught up in a fast-moving, gripping story rather than a history lesson. What stood out most was how it made me feel the human side of history—the fear, the relief, and the confusion as the war finally ended. It’s full of details, but it never felt boring or too technical.

The Fix
Format: Hardcover
An insightful and interesting book on how our country's first legislators try to make sense of the new and fairly short U.S. Constitution, which, being drafted by humans, was bound to be imperfect. A lack of clarity on some point might be due to the changeable nature of words themselves or to confusion or obscurity of thought by the authors. And, who were the authors? The men in the room who came up with the product or the various state conventions that approved the final product? Professor Gienapp writes well and with a fine grasp of his subject. He uses concrete examples to illustrate his main points. For example, Congressional debates over the constitutionality of a proposed federal bank, the ratification of Jay's Treaty, and even whether the Bill of Rights was to be incorporated into or simply added to the original document. Most people think of U.S. constitutional history in terms of its drafting and ratification and/or its later judicial interpretation by the Supreme Court. Here, Professor Gienapp focuses on the initial work of interpretation by the first few sessions of Congress. This book is essential reading for those interested in the U.S. Constitution and the internal architecture of our government. I think those who spend countless hours viewing frenetic talking heads say this or that about the constitutionality of some issue or another (or the nomination of a justice to the High Court) should throw their television set out the window and, instead, settle into a corner chair and calmly read this and other such thoughtful books. This one should win prizes.

Excellent Book
Format: Hardcover
Stanford University History Professor Gienapp has done an outstanding job of researching and writing this historical analysis of the interpretation of the American Constitution by America's first Congress. Professor Gienapp analyzes data primarily from Congress's problems interpreting the removable of executive officers, chartering a national bank and approval of the 1794 Treaty with Great Britain negotiated by Chief Justice John Jay, the "Jay Treaty." Gienapp shows in clear writing how Congress used records of the debates at the Constitutional Convention and State Ratification Conventions to resolve these constitutional issues. I highly recommend this book to anyone concerned with the interpretation of the American Constitution.

An analysis of how we came to think about the Constitution the way we do
Format: Kindle
It provides a detailed analysis of the arguments used to talk about the Constitution in the ten years after it was ratified. These arguments shifted from treating it as a preliminary draft to be perfected through filling in the details of the operation of the government through experience, to a sacred document that had to be interpreted to determine its "true" meaning.
