The L3Harris GPNVG (Ground Panoramic Night Vision Goggle) is a premium panoramic night vision system designed to provide unmatched situational awareness through a true quad-tube configuration. Unlike traditional dual-tube binocular systems, the GPNVG utilizes four image intensifier tubes to deliver a significantly expanded field of view, allowing users to maintain awareness across a much wider visual area without head movement.

This system provides a panoramic field of view of approximately 97°, more than doubling the horizontal field of view of standard 40° night vision binoculars. The result is a substantial increase in peripheral awareness, making it one of the most capable night vision systems available for dynamic environments, particularly in close-quarters applications where rapid threat identification and spatial awareness are critical.

The GPNVG is built as a complete L3Harris system utilizing high-performance Gen 3 unfilmed white phosphor image intensifier tubes with a minimum 2376 FOM. These tubes deliver exceptional low-light performance, high resolution, and excellent clarity in extremely dark conditions.  All systems feature extremely high-performance tubes held to strict cosmetic and performance tolerances, ensuring a clean, consistent image across all four optical channels.

The housing is designed for durability and operational reliability, with an integrated panoramic bridge system that maintains proper alignment across all four optical channels. The system utilizes a fixed panoramic configuration, optimized for maximum field of view and situational awareness rather than traditional articulating operation.

Power is supplied via a remote battery pack system, providing extended runtime and improved weight distribution when helmet-mounted. This configuration reduces front-end weight and enhances overall balance during extended use.
