The ABLE is our premier gravel race bike, purposefully engineered to meet the demands of modern race courses. From the start, the original ABLE proved itself by dominating Unbound 200. We knew we were on the right track. Today, gravel racing is faster than ever, pack-oriented, and over even harsher terrain. The engineering behind the new ABLE is all about creating and controlling speed off-road to conquer those conditions.

Keen eyes will pick up the lowered chainstay, compared to the raised stay on the original ABLE. Our engineers knew that fitting the largest tire possible on the new ABLE was essential—in this case, it’s a gargantuan 700x57mm—to give riders the performance to steamroll turtleheads and bigger rock gardens or, worse, take a pothole at 35mph without catastrophe. To maintain race-first geometry and high-speed stability, we lowered the chainstay to carve out the real estate for the 57mm tire. Our not-so-incognito, real-world testing resulted in this setup flatting zero times and snagging podiums to boot, proving wider is faster.

Speed gains are made through the air, too, with a deeper headtube section and fully integrated cables for a streamlined front end and aerodynamic efficiency you’ll appreciate century after century. Typically, internal cabling limits fit adjustments, but on ABLE, you can change stem rise between two positions (-8 and 0 degrees) without recabling, thanks to our ST03 stem design, which comes with an out-front mount made by K-EDGE.

ABLE is lightweight and visually lean, with complete builds as low as 16.25 lbs (RED XPLR with Industry Nine SOLIX wheels and Continental Race King 2.2” tires). Its low weight is due in no small part to the feathery-light SP02 seat post, which features user-friendly, two-way independent adjustability for tilt and fore/aft positioning. Ease-of-use extends to the new internal frame storage. The magnetic hatch is located lower to the bottom bracket interface, not directly under the bottle mounts, which we know endure utter carnage during gravel racing. We did this to save weight and add strength to the door, removing any hinge mechanisms that can fail under the load of a heavy bottle.

ABLE is Direct Mount/UDH compatible and fits suspension forks (up to 40mm—though we recommend running 30mm), giving you the shifting stability of the latest wireless setups and the extra travel to take on gravel’s biggest challenges.

The SRAM RIVAL AXS MULLET Build

For riders who enjoy saving money just as much as running the finest components, Rival AXS in Mullet is the must-have drivetrain. Rival AXS brings the precision, wireless shifting performance of SRAM’s top-tier RED groupset at a fraction of the cost. It’s also built for whatever terrain you’re after with a wide 10–52t mountain cassette out back, giving you the racing gears you need in competition and the extreme-slope, bail-out gears to power up monster climbs. Industry Nine’s 1/1 GCRX wheelset rounds out the build with race-ready performance and epic-ride durability.

Compelling story, beautifully written
Format: Kindle
Loneliness & Company was a fantastic read. In a truly novel take and an incredibly fun read, Charlee Dyroff confronts both the growing endemic of loneliness and the looming threat of AI, pushing us subtly to think deeply and thoughtfully about the implications of both. More than that though, Loneliness & Company is beautifully written, populated by great characters and is driven forward with a compelling, narrative. Its the first book in a very long while that I couldn't wait to get back to. Definitely would give this my strongest recommendation.

3.5
Format: Hardcover
This is a smart book, an interesting book but it was hard for me to read as the style was more technical/detached than i like. It worked for the story but not for the kind of reader I am. It is worth the read though despite this 3.5

Very creative and engaging
Format: Hardcover
Kinda blown away that this is a first novel! In a not-so-distant future, the protagonist Lee is a recent grad of an elite Program where she has dedicated her life to achievement. She's disappointed to be sent to a no-name company and assigned to a mysterious project. Learning she must gather data to help AI become more human, it's sadly funny as the only way she knows to gather data is by going online. I really loved the book's portrayal of the future, in which NYC is a dead city and the Midwest is where all the action is. The future portrayed here is just a tad more digitized than our current time. Instead of cooking people order food and it is delivered instantly (not just meals, but like if you want a cookie it's delivered instantly), purchase clothing by tapping the glass display windows at empty stores, and eat at restaurants by tapping on screens and having food shot out at them by machines. When Lee discovers a "primitive" restaurant that is actually staffed by humans and has menus, she is drawn to the place over and over again and starts to discover the magic of real life interaction. Lee, who is socially awkward to the point of agony, gradually becomes comfortable interacting with humans IRL. It's touching and funny as she navigates things like friendship, getting drinks or coffee and even dating. But the book takes a dark turn as Lee's drive for perfection and her assignment to "experience life" for the AI spin out of control. This book started off reminding me of "The Factory" by Hiroko Amayada and turned into shades of "The Rosie Project". Touching and truly original, well worth reading!

Poignant
Format: Hardcover
This is definitely a slow burn. A poignant look at the idea of loneliness, though I often think about how the technology presented in near future worlds make people feel less tangibly human.
