60/40 SPLIT Bed Extension Option transforms the normal full-width bed extension into two separate pieces, one the width of your double back seat, and one the width of the single back seat. This allows you to have one back seat up, while the other side's bed is extended. Great for solo camping!

Platform Top Material:

Carpet: Marine-grade indoor/outdoor carpet bonded to the plywood platform. Soft, quiet, and adds padding under your mattress. Durable enough for muddy boots. Easy to vacuum.

Hex Ply: Phenolic-coated plywood with a rugged hexagonal grip pattern. This is what you see in professional adventure rigs and overland builds. Gear stays put on steep terrain, heavy coolers and bins slide in and out without snagging, and cleanup is a 30-second wipe. Looks aggressive. Won't absorb spills, odors, or dog hair. If you're building a kit that works as hard as you do, this is the move.

MODEL NOTES:

• 4Runner Kit Gen 4 and 5 only: Select either standard 8.75" height for a 5'8" long bed, or the tall 14" height for a 6'4" long bed. Tall versions allow the bed to flow over the flipped-up back seat bottoms, while giving you much taller drawers.
• 4Runner Gen 5: Does NOT work with sliding gear tray
• FJ Cruiser Kit: Back seat bottoms MUST be REMOVED to deploy final section of bed extension. Easy to remove these without tools.
• Crosstrek Kit: Drawers start 3.5" above trunk surface to pull out over the raised tailgate lip.
