Im Bodenfach befindet sich ein integriertes Regencape. Durch dieses ist der RU 31 und sein Inhalt auch bei Nässe und Wind immer gut geschützt. Das geräumige Hauptfach lässt sich durch einen Rundbogenreißverschluss öffnen. Im Inneren befindet sich eine Netztasche, die mittels eines Reißverschlusses verschlossen werden kann.
