The Cube Acid Eagle is built to tackle challenging singletrack with efficient ease so that you can move onto the next challenge. Cube’s design team have completely redesigned the Acid Eagle in 2019, starting with the bold new 6061 aluminium frame. The lightweight yet dynamic and durable frame is built with a tapered head tube and PressFit bottom bracket for improved steering control and pedalling efficiency. The frame is complemented by Cube’s agile geometry which includes increased fork offsets and shorter chainstays to create that nimble and efficient feel so that you can really let rip on the trails, something Cube has really worked hard on.

It only gets better from there, with a RockShox Recon Silver TK Air Fork for the bumps and SRAM’S classy and smooth Eagle 1x12 drivetrain which delivers amazingly reliable high-level performance.  Pair that with the Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres and you get a smooth and efficient ride, that perfectly blends comfort and performance. The Acid Eagle is also equipped with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes for reliable braking control in any conditions, perfect for the trails. It’s all finished off with a multi-layer paint finish so that your Acid Eagle looks in top condition for years to come. Features

Wet Paint Surface: On polished, brushed aluminium and all HPC frames, the logos and graphics are applied in multi-layer wet paint to save weight.

Advanced Mechanical Forming: We can mechanically transform different frame tubes and thus optimise them without material-wearing welding work for the respective requirements. Along the obtained organic look, the production method is primarily to enable us to manufacture lighter and also stiffer aluminum frames.

Aluminium Lite: 6061 aluminium alloy requires a heat treatment for the finished product. It is a stiff, corrosion resistant, fatigue resistant,high-elongation material suitable for light tubesets with high stiffness.

Integrated Cable Routing: Cables are protected from dirt for longer life and weight is saved as there is no external housing and the bike has a clean, sleek appearance.

Agile Ride Geometry: We increased fork offsets to achieve the same trail as our 26in bikes without having to steepen the head angle. Secondly, we shortened the chain stays without compromising the seat angle and invented a patented construction to mount the front derailleur to increase tyre clearance while keeping a conventional seat angle, for a perfect riding position. We kept the BB height the same as on our 26in bikes. These measures lead to a natural riding position.

Due to the box sizes and shipping restrictions we are unable to ship bikes with the handlebars, front wheel and pedals pre-installed, and gears and brakes tuned as we have to repack the bike.

We recommend for your own safety that you get a qualified bicycle mechanic to re-install these parts before riding this bicycle. Not using a qualified bicycle mechanic is done at your own risk. Incorrectly installing these parts could cause the bike to malfunction and result in serious injury which 99 Bikes PTY LTD will not be held responsible for. Any damage as a result of improper assembly carried out by anyone who is not a qualified bicycle mechanic, will not be covered under warranty.
